Better Late Than Never - Ardee

Here is my half of a long-delayed art trade with Ardee, aka *NeoSlashott - his half of the trade can be found here.

This isn't exactly what Ardee requested; because of the delay (due mostly to real-life priorities), I wanted to do something a bit more elaborate and special, along with a little joke about the length of time it took me to do my half of the trade. One difference from most of my artwork is the background; I started out with the background, rather than slapping together a background to fit the characters. The toys were a (time-consuming) last minute addition for the most part, as, originally, I was only going to include the Arnold bobblehead and Phoebe photo (a reflection of Ardee's original request) on the desk, and Ardee was not originally holding a Blossom doll. However, I wanted to clutter up the desk a little, and they do give the drawing some more personality. Every toy and figurine featured in the picture exists, including the semi-creepy Raven torso.

I have known Ardee for several years. I first knew him as a member of my Hey Arnold message board, where he won the Arnold bobblehead in a contest for my website. Later, he found me on DeviantArt, and it has been enjoyable to see his artwork improve over time. I look forward to much more from him!
